I sure am hoping to go on the road with him in the near future. I agree, it should be fun seeing the parts of the US he travels with deliveries! I have no desire to drive a tractor trailer, though.. They're too big for me. I will settle for riding along as a passenger.

He's coming along pretty good. He's really loving his job. Glad to hear your husband got to stop by and will be home again soon. Hoping things are going well with you and kids and continue going well for your husband. My husband also wants to take a pet dog along, but we don't have one right now. Take care.

Having a dog on a truck is good in certain instances but also a lot of work and different mindset. You have to be more mindful of your time and where you stop. You have to learn the personality of your dog too. Mine will let me know when she has to go out but is also good enough to know when she has to wait. I don't go in to eat anywhere or catch a movie. I'm quick when I take a shower but always have been and I try to be quick when I restock at Walmart, she has separation anxiety if I'm gone too long.

The only bad part that I dislike when I went out with mine was the some of the truck stops are not that clean, niw tgis was last year down in abamba. its best to make sure you guys have enough food in the truck bc truck stop food expenses.

You got that right. It's easy for one person to spend upwards of 30$ a day if you include one as a sit down dinner with tipping. Got to be judicious with your spending and I really can't afford that luxury. People complain about truck stop food, but personally, I don't think it's bad at all. Just expensive.

Just got done with my recertification. My blood pressure is fine, I can see fine, I can hear fine, I'm able to lift, squat, bend and push weights across the room and the most important thing, my family jewels are just wonderful, now I'm ready to go trucking for two more years. God willing, this will be the last recertification I'll need before I retire.

Just got my recertification on Monday also... for some reason my BP was at 138/80 but the Dr. didn't seem too concerned by it

LabCoat syndrome.....BP is 100% fine under normal situations, and then you get to the clinic and get nervous....I feel like that happens to me all the time!! At the clinic, my BP is high, the rest of the time, you'd think I was dead, haha

Exactly. I check mine constantly, at the lab under their environment, I'm always 20-30 points higher.
