Bumped the dock here at SuperValu in Indianola right at 4:00am local time. It is now after 10am local time. I've been here over 6 hours. And they're still unloading me, apparently. I felt the truck shake as recently as 10 minutes ago.

 

Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving wherevee it was spent. Sitting at bh brooklyn. Some ppl here but not nearly as many trucks. Picked this load up in wytheville. Had hoped for a scenery change simce i was there, but no.

Would have been nice for a heads up that this was plan, i could have been shut down in wytheville 1 to 2 hours earlier which would have helped this load. I made the 531 miles in 10 hours 20 minutes total time.

Otherwise a very good week here for me mileage wise.

Even had a 1st this week. Delivered two differenent to numbers that were drop hook on one end and lul om other. One from richmond to monroetownship nj and the other from s plainsfield to levittown pa. The 2nd one was a cursed broker load i hauled around all last week.

 

Should have mentioned it early, at that DC they taste test every other can for quality assurance.

 

Is that the same broker load they didn't want you to drop anywhere?.

 

Yup. The one that was way late that i took all the way to mass and back. Glad its done and can only haunt my dreams!

 

You will find that shippers/receivers place little to no value on your time.

 

Probably wind up owing the broker money on that one!.

 

Hard to value something that is free.
