Agreed... I was bobtailed and had to park illegally next to the CAT Scales along with four other BT trucks... lucky I wasn't needing to stop for more than a shower and roll back out.

Heading to Jacksonville today for a 4am drop... first "full and solid" day of driving all week.

If anyone has dropped at Jacksonville is that the BH customer with the very tight back and a light pole in the way across the street??? With the ramp in the way too? No way to get square with the dock, unless you get very lucky, just get close enough and they make it work?

 

I've had a freightliner since I went solo. The same freightliner I was in when I waved at you at that consignee in Canada back in Oct and again at wintersville yesterday morning.

 

If the driver edit process involves a phone call to safety, that doesn't count.

 

I have been to 2 BH distributors and 1 cold store warehouse in Jacksonville and neither match that description. One distributor had me park on the street and used a pallet jack to pull pallets to the tail for a forklift to grab as their yard was too tight to get into.

The other near a roundabout ("arena") wasn't bad as there was a parking lot across from the dock to pull into to setup for the dock.

 

No the driver cannot edit drive time once that status is official. Whatever happens before that is a computer error in your favor

In other news got sent to wisconsin. They called and "asked" if i would go. Brought back memories of being voluntold....or asked before being just told....so i said id go.

My gps had no clue there even was a wisconsin amd i was only a few days away from getting rid of all the non northeast pages in my mapbook to help with storage space here in my tiny lil mack.

This will be a nice lil trip to mark 6 months here as of 12/1.

 

Are you at the shipper yet?. Just wondering if they are on the ball and the trailers are preloaded as stated.

Would be good to grab and make it to a decent truck stop before the 14 runs out
