520 miles. Not a great day, but a good one. Solid miles, used up all my 11, got to drive through West Virginia which I still haven't gotten tired of. No complaints from this driver.
EDIT: Nice thing about that Hyster-Yale plant is that they don't screw around. You can show up 30 minutes early. My appointment was for 4:00pm. I rolled in at 3:20pm, was docked by 3:40pm, and was back on the road by 4:20pm.ChrisL, MidWest_MacDaddy and Redtwin Thank this. -
I finally made it Berea last week. Good to cross that one off the list and add the facility procedure to my experience file.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.

Mc Chatty drives a Volvo and seems a bit unhappy with safety at the moment.

Just messing, MD, hope things aren't as bad as they seem.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
I got 261 paid miles from wytheville to Berea. I can only assume they would pay the same DH back?.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.

That was a good day... I too love the hills of WV, NC, TN, etc etc etc
Here's to putting a few more "good days" back to back to back...

NOT ME ... {whew}
Can't see the truck number but the license plate is pretty clear... should anyone need to know...
-
Nope... not me and I would not be posting pics online if it were me either... LOL
-
No worries... made me laugh... LOL
My ##### is not safety related but communications related... they want me to change the way I am doing something... ok, I am totally willing to but before one can be "empowered" one must first be "informed" and then "educated".... the want to empower without educating... asking a few questions about how to do it and it's a "waste of time"...
i know people there don't need to be bothered but if you want someone to do something different going forward you need to give them the tools (knowledge) with which to do it.
That lack of communication and downright disrespect for a willing driver seeking education is just no way to implement change and honestly just pisses me the Eff Off!!!
I do like it here... sure the miles could at times be better and they do have good trucks, great frieght, etc... lifestyle is hard but that IS trucking...
but I think this "company cheerleader" is going to be turning in his cheerleading uniform... if not more... but I have a few ideas that I might try to present up the chain before making that call.
MD... current driver of 1532Finfn1372, MetroThaTrucker and 4mer trucker Thank this.
