I have an RM 730 and it will sometimes use some strange routing like sending me 5 miles past a truck stop on the opposite side of the road to make a uturn rather back to it than just make a left into the tstop.

 

I wish it was a coyote I saw, wouldn't have spooked me.

 

They usually have a backhaul from Pepsi a mile away from where you dropped. Just cross your fingers that it isn't a broker *shudder* load of water to Kroger DC.

 

Hmmm.....there is hope for this company. Had one of my most productive weeks as a solo since I started here 4 years ago. From the start of the pay period last Saturday, until today, I've run 3890 miles, 3 extra stop offs, got a reset in never made it past Univetsity Park and now picking up a trainee in Richmond.

By the way, who starts a new career 2 weeks before Christmas?

Santa's new elf?.

I had a good couple weeks over Thanksgiving. First time I have cracked 7k+ in a pay period. Just one more personal goal to meet which is to see how quickly I can put 100k on this truck, I'm only 10k away from that one.

 

Well apparently my truck was in bad shape. I know it was in shop yesterday and its still thede today. So got a load going to queens for monday. Sounds like 10 plus dryvans in the general area of jfk. Should make for a fun and unproductive day

Just got a deadhead assignment back to Wytheville. See you in 8 hours or so.

 

I'm nowhere near wytheville . I'm in Jessup MD trying to get back to Richmond for a reset and some sleep but not having much luck.
