Agreed... it never hit the forecasted -22 but you are right about the wind... at those temps even a breeze cuts like a knife.

Well, now my truck is requesting a Parked Regen... so I get parked and attempt a Regen... but it fails... Why? Because of the engine fault this truck has been tossing around for over a month now... LOL

So I called the shop... "keep driving, it might clear on its own".... ok ... rolling on... LOL

It's still a good truck but I am just not fond of lights telling me stuff ain't right...

Yea as long as it doesn't derate.

 

We didn't cover that in training... LOL

 

Once the freightliner derates you have about 15mins to get off the road as the engine will shut down. I found that out while crossing the GWB....and again on the NJ Pike.

 

Anybody ever been to DFW deli provisions in Dallas before?It looks like one of those smh deliverys lol.

 

That TA truck stop in Jessup is a real piece of work.

 

So the Parked Regen request is still up so I called Breakdown per the Garage's instructions and talked to Volvo... they can't "see" the engine code and there is no engine code appearing on the error in diagnostics so they can't say what's causing it not to Regen.

Next step... Dealership in Loves Park...

On Monday.... LOL .... ok, will do.

This #### light is now costing me even more downtime... and someone at the office wants my miles increased... now three attempts on three different days sure ain't helping... LOL
