Nice job! Wow...that area has changed alot in the last several years. I seen in your previous image they finally did something with that landfill across the street. Looks much better now. Again looks like you did one heck of a job @ExtremeUnction

    Excellent!
Reminds me of a stop we used to have in Chicago. Lake Street, about 3 blocks west of Cicero. Lake Street has the EL tracks running over the top of it, so there are supports about every 25 feet or so. Had to wait at the curb, for traffic to clear, then pull out and block the street, and slowly try and back through a gate.

Rolling out tonight for a 6am Halls delivery. Nothing exciting. Last pay period was the best one since my first back in August. Was hoping things were finally getting better but this period is looking poor again.

I've pretty much given up hope of breaking 5000 per with this company. Between the standard PITA things we all deal with, and just a complete lack of cooperation trying to get to loved ones for medical emergencies, well .... I just don't know anymore.

Came here for long haul, was told that's what I'd do but, been pretty much relegated to regional/local stuff. Honestly don't think I can do the job any better than I do already and can't figure out how to get the respect I've earned.

Gonna have to make some decisions soon though.

I feel your pain. Went back to a previous employer for more miles and longer runs. We went to GA and FL a lot. Mostly what I did when I was there. Easy trip planning etc.

This time around it's nothing of the sort. Short 500 runs followed by 12-24 hour waits between emptying out and reloading and bouncing all around the clock.

Don't know if it's new guy syndrome or if something happened to their freight base, but it's getting old real fast...

Good luck to you, chralb. I hope things get better for you.
