Ok. First pic...where I dropped my mty here at gencol. Sheet of approx 2 inch ice. The whole lot. Now the trl I need to pu is in the far right corner up there.



Second pic is my current situation. Tried everything I know right now to get out of this one. The trl I need is directly to my right. But nothing is working.

Mine on 1532 is shot (sensor, controller, something) and won't even idle on its own at any temp...

And the garage will tell you, and I quote, "just hit the cruise control to idle the truck"... LOL

so that's what I've been doing since then... works great... (for me that is, idles 24/7 if needed no matter the temp)

but then expect your FM to contact you about your decrease in fuel mileage... LOL

I referred him to the garage...

 

Dang look at all that ice...

I managed to get the shop to fix my idle sensor, so it's possible to get it repaired.

 

Whew!!!! Finally got out of there!! The one thing I hadn't tried-hot water!!! Currently sitting at the rat hole Pilot right there. Not moving today. Nope. Can't make me.

 

Don't know what's going on with this crazy weather. Truck is showing 65 here in Bidwell OH. Last night it was in the 20s. Lost count of how many cars and trucks in ditches on US35 this morning.

 

Hope none of you good people were anywhere near Baltimore this morning! 55 cars and who knows how many trucks including a tanker that went over the Jersey wall on 95 near 695 south of the city.

 

It is crazy. I was watching the local news and even they were amazed at the difference in temps. It was showing 66 in Chillicothe, 53 in Columbus and 35 in Marion.

I'm impatient to get out of here. Roads are clear, just their dang lot is ice. Going to go back tomorrow and see what I can figure out.

 

Ask Abilene to buy you a few bags of salt to take back with you.
