I don't like driving in windy conditions. Figured that out yesterday when I saw daylight under the tandem tires.

I've seen that a few times. Always good for a really tight pucker .... lol

That's when I really wish these trucks had more in reserve to better deal with it.

Still no luck getting hold of this broker. Will try again when folks in these parts start waking up. Pretty serious winter storm warnings for this area today. Wouldn't mind getting out of dodge soon.

    EDIT:
Got hold of the broker and a BOL#. Will call the shipper when they open to verify if that's all they need. If so I'll be rolling south in 3 hours after my 34 is up. :)

    EDIT 2:
LOL ... Shipper says I'm the only load going that way so no problem. I roll in about an hour. See y'all on the other end. Enjoy and be safe. :)

If load info says 33 degrees and it has eleventy billion additional messages saying 33, but the shipper states emphatically that it should be 35, what do you go with?.

Happened so fast and was so unexpected I didn't have time to think about parking.

Set it at 35 "per Shipper" and submit a QC msg stating so to CYA.

Ok, having only 2.5 years driving I know I haven't pulled everything that can be but, I've pulled a lot of different stuff. But this load is unique to me. 17 totes of liquid polymer at 41.5k down the 5 from OR to CA.

These 17 tanks have about 8" of air space in them and this load never stops sloshing around. It's like pulling a tanker in a box .... lol. Stopped for my 30 and the trailer rocked for another 10 minutes.... lol. Odd, but pretty cool experience. :)
