Mine wasn't temp controlled either.
-
Hope you have tanker endorsements for those totes.
-
Yep I understand why but somewhat don't
-
Have you just hung around here since 2010 and just driving for 2.5? I thought I was bad lol
-
LOL .... Yeah. That's exactly how it happened.

They're actual staggered, 1 then 2 then 1 etc. Reason was twofold. To get the weight right for CA bridge and, being metal skids on a metal floor, we needed to strap them in tight to the front of the box. Also, the guy loading them really didn't have faith in locks and I don't think I had enough for your suggestion either.
Only thing I messed up a little was opting for a 48 foot setup instead of a 44. I over estimated the nose weight of the refer. So I was 200 under max on the tandems and lighter than I wanted on the drives. Legal, but with CA bridge, stuck with it. Lol -
Whatever is on paper, they can't deny it if it's written on the bills.MidWest_MacDaddy and Redtwin Thank this.

2 degrees wouldn't make much difference to the cargo, I was more concerned with the receiver complaining that temp was not as specified.
Whose specification though?. -
The bills had a temp range printed on them, but the shipper wouldn't budge, 35 or no load for you!!!.
