Speaking of New York, I drove past the remnants of this yesterday morning while driving back from Canandingua, NY:

Apparently two semis and a single four wheeler were involved. You know it was a bad crash when they bring a roll-off dumpster to the crash site to help clean up the wreckage.

A few minutes after I passed the crash site, I passed the flatbed hauling away the remains of one of the semis. It looked pretty bad. Bad enough that I don't imagine the driver made it out alive.

Excluding Extremes post, Abilene must have a lot of freight no ones had time to post, not even MD! For us faithful followers it's been pretty boring lately!

 

The chatty one is on vacation so the thread is on life support until his return.

I am having a pretty bad week and would rather lay low.

 

Welp, for the first time since I got out of training 3.5 months ago, I have been given a trip out west. Richmond to Chula Vista. HP load to a Wal-Mart under construction.

Stopped in Crossville, TN for the night. Had another one of those nights where I just couldn't seem to get parked. Couldn't get set up right, didn't have enough turn room, couldn't hit the slot, etc etc. Finally gave up and parked in a reserved spot because my blood sugar was going low.

Some days I think I got it. Other days I don't. More the former than the latter these days, though, so that's good.
