Are you asking at the window for a load?. I have never waited that long at the yard unless it was a situation where the load was not ready yet. Even then I had the load info on my QC within minutes. Granted I have gotten stuff that had lots of extra time on it, but if I can squeeze in a reset along the way I don't mind those.

I'm sure I passed you along the way as I spent last night at W. Memphis and rolled east past Wytheville.

I had forgotten about it so wasn't pleased when my alarm woke me up when I could have slept for another hour.

    Yup.

I usually don't either. I was just confused about how we could have lots of freight to run, but it still took me 3 hours to get a load.

If you saw someone driving a big green truck, that was me.

Maybe you fell through the cracks?. If the planner was busy and had a few trucks to dispatch he could have just forgot you were waiting. I would go back in after an hour and as friendly as possible ask if they were still looking for a load for you.

Had one of them kitty litter loads that was supposedly preloaded. 11am on 3.12 was the "time" given in the qc. Due in pa noon 3.13. Show up at 2am and ended up spending 8 hours at the plant bc the preload turned into a liveload. This made the delivery late by about 4.5hours. Thankfully they worked me in. Was there for 3 hours. The unload and paying the lumpers took about equal time.....

Now im subject to a temporary travel restriction for trailers, rvs, and motorcycles. (Yes they actually soecifically listed motorcycles) along i80 in PA. Hoping we dont get all the snow they are calling for.

Have hometime scheduled for thursday and friday. Have a personal matter to attend to on friday.
