Golf-Delta, JohnBoy, sounds like you showed more restraint on that fella than I imagine I could've mustered. Met a few guys here like that but thankfully not many. Hell, in my first two days solo here I pulled off to the side to either look something up or check something and each time an Abi driver pulled off ahead of me and made sure I was alright.(hadn't installed my C.B. yet.) Sure made an impression that very had been able to dent (and most of those are from guys in the office.) I hope they get you guys out of there today, and FWIW, I dunno what your experience with her has been but I hope you weren't too hard on Tracy. She's gotten me out a few fixes when no one else would, and she ain't even my DM.

Agreed. Tracy is a Godsend to that office and I knew it from the day she started. We work very well together (not my DM either) and she's always attentive and efficient with resolutions. I can say we've become friends.

That said, I can't blame John one bit for being a tad tight with whoever answered the phone. Just a shame it was her. But I know John. He's got far too much class to have been "too" rude with her. ;)

Passport didn't mean a thing, the customs paperwork was wrong.

Tracy was a sweetheart. She let me vent, calmed me down, then I apologized to her. She told me that's what she's there for.

I swear, if we could clone her and put one in dispatch and one in load planning, the only things I'd have left to grouse about would be the lack of APU's and the fuel card system. :D

Let me venture a guess here.......HP warranty returns? If so, I did a couple of those loads with Knight. The first one I got sent back from Canada due to wrong ppwk. That one took 12+ hrs to get resolved, in Toledo no less. The rest of those loads, I went to some place right below the Ambassador bridge, and Knight paid them to get me the correct ppwk. No problems from that point on.

It was 3 loads of printer ink going to their facility in Mississauga. Let me tell you, right about now it wouldn't faze me one bit if some Chinese conglomerate bought HP out, and moved the whole operation to Beijing, putting every last one of their employees into early retirement. Especially the one in charge of customs paperwork.

Tracy is awesome. Seems everyone else has hit the highlights so ill just agree.

That 3rd guy in the abilene truck with jb reminds me of so many people, both criminal and traffic related, that just begged, pleaded, waved giant signs, etc, begging for my further attention and usually got some sort of memento (or extra ones) to remember the encounter by when it wasnt originally going to end up that way or that bad atleast.

Currently sitting on columbus ave in manhattan miraculously in an actual spot that fits me. Now just waiting till delivery time 5 miles down the road where im sure a parking ticket is somehow in my future.
