Sitting here at a TA truck stop in Wilcox, AZ. Next Pilot/Flying J is 75 miles away. The next weigh station is 73 miles away. So because I'd like to comply with the "don't fuel anywhere but Pilot/Flying J" policy, and because I'd like to wait until after I pass the next weigh station to fuel up, I'm pushing for the Pilot 75 miles away.
However...
If that data is accurate, I should make it. I should only need 12-13 gallons to make it, and according to that gauge, I've got over twice that much.
My only worry: What if that data isn't accurate?
Will find out in about an hour, I guess...

Congrats on the "highest ever settlement" ... keep up the great work!!!
(I would still request reimbursement of the $15 fee ... at least they will know that you noticed it before it happens again... plus, you might discover why it even happened in the first place.)

Rolling in to the Flying J like...
MidWest_MacDaddy and Lonesome Thank this. -
The '13 (I think) Volvo I drove at my last company had a needle that swung with the motion of the truck. You couldn't trust the reading unless the truck was parked on level ground for more than five minutes. That said, my current '17 Kenny sits at full until I get to between 3/8 and 1/4. :-/Last edited: Apr 2, 2017

I will call them tomorrow to find out what happened, the payroll website has nothing listed for this past pay date so basically it looks like I got no pay at all. That could be problematic as I am currently in the process of applying for a loan.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.

There is no way I could have driven the truck like that. Just way too paranoid about running out of fuel.runningman0661 Thanks this.

The KWs are known for running out of fuel with as much as a 1/4 tank showing on the gauge. There was a fleetwide QC message sent out a few months ago when a few drivers ran out of fuel.

If something was jacked up this time there will probably be a payroll ran to compensate for it or a double up on a he next round.

Agreed.... talk about being between a rock and a hard spot.... run light on fuel or run overweight... for those with more experience it's probably an easy thing to do... but dang... good job from my point of view.
