My wife let me know that it was 89 at the house and that she was going into the pool for a swim.

For this driver, solo, 53k per year, if I train then it's right at 60k. But as I'm sure you are well aware of, there is a bit more to it then just pay, hometime, benefits, equipment, freight, and so on.

Did you try the day labor workforce pool? You know the ones, it's the places you see in big cities with all the homeless drug addicts hanging out, I'm sure they are very qualified for your needs.

I guess running to Laredo Tx and Miami Fl qualifies us as international drivers.

yea I am aware. I have been checking out the company and have been interested for some time now but I get nervous about changing. I make high 50s running 4 days a week but its back breaking work along with driving. Im willing to take a little pay cut just to get away from the current situation. I have read your thread and you guys seem to really help each other out and Abilene does have nice equip, but I wasn't sure the reality of the earning potentials. I have checked with a few drivers at the truck stop but you know how that went lol. can you run west coast as a solo or do they like you to stay in the NE?

They are a 48 states company and Canada. . Ne u get a ten cent per mile more anything md on up. If u have the hours and everything in play u could go to the west coast as a solo driver. Hope this helps

Yes you can run west solo. I'm on one right now, I have 5 drops ending in Reno Nv. I lost a day because of the roads being shut down, so instead of being empty on Wednesday, I'll be empty Thursday, the extent of my physical labor? Opening the trailer doors 5 times in 3 days. Sounds like you're in food service? Any other questions feel free to ask, one of us will answer.

Right now I'm writing you as I take my 30 minute break here on the Salt Flats in Utah as I eat a sammich.
