Safety for the raise, payroll for the vacation. Oh, and today is my 4 year incarceration here.

Speaking of incarceration, I am now in my 4th hour at a TA waiting to get 5 trailer tires replaced.

Don't know who dropped the trailer at groveport like this, but sitting here watching my 14 tick away I can understand why they didn't want to waste their time getting it taken care of.

I wouldn't say that I am trapped, but it sure does take an awful long time to get into the target distribution warehouse here in Stuarts Draft.

You would think that a company which does as much truck traffic as a Target warehouse would have a quicker, more efficient way of getting trucks in and out of the warehouse. It would be nice if all of our warehouses were as easy to get into and out of as the Gatorade plant in Wytheville.

Never been to that one, but the two in GA and one in IN that I have been to were a breeze. Easy drop hooks that will take you well before appt time.

Wow! Those are pretty bad. I could possibly understand one but not five.

Actually it's very easy to understand, when people don't get compensated for their time they are reluctant to do anything.

Yeah, once I got in, it was a snap. But the 30-minute wait behind the line of 8-10 trucks to actually get into the yard seemed unusually protracted.

Agreed, somebody missing or making an incorrect judgement call on one or even two tires I could accept. But that many, looking that bad, the trailer was either not pretripped by a few drivers or they all thought the same thing "leave it for someone else"
