When I was there the trucks were set at 68ish but I think I read on here that they were recently turned up to 70/72... others can confirm that.
3,000/week is doable if you are a good fit with how the company runs. Don't expect 9-5 daytime miles... you will run days and nights. If you prove you can run, and be flexible within the company available loads, the miles are there.

Yes... @BukowskiFlowers ... you WILL get frustrated at times... that's a given... but This group will be a good resource to help "weather the wait" and other issues.
Once you get in sync with the way the company runs, you will see the miles.JohnBoy Thanks this. -
36 CPM
46 CPM for miles in NE
$50 nyc stop pay
$25 Canada border crossing pay
$25 extra stop pay
$20 detention pay after 2 hours...usually
Layover and breakdown pay, but never put in for those so no clue how much those are.
Oh, 45 mins off duty driving each day. Debatable whether that qualifies as pay, but I consider that a quantifiable monetary benefit as I use the truck for grocery shopping and errands every week as I don't own a car. If I had to pay for cabs or Uber etc it would be a significant amount.JohnBoy and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this. -
Was quite the day today. We ran this load straight through from Compton. My trainee Shannon took the night shift last night and made it to Moriarty NM as the sun was coming up. I then took it to the Arkansas welcome center. He took it back and right now are about 100 miles from the WM yard where we are dropping this.
I knew when he got on my truck 2 weeks ago that he wouldn't be with me long. All day today we have been going back and forth with Kimberley and the big boss. It was decided, based on my progress reports and talks with Kimberley, that Shannon will go solo when we get to WM. He got his truck assignment earlier, a KW, and a load that's sitting in the yard going to Elkridge MD. He's been gone a month and needed some hometime. Him living in Baltimore makes this just right. Of course he's a little nervous, but #### he's a good driver. I have no issues with him going solo. Me? I'm headed back west in the morning after I finish my 10.MidWest_MacDaddy, Rocknroller4, Lonesome and 4 others Thank this. -
Layover pay varies. As I understand it, they figure out what your average pay was per day for the three or four days before your layover, and then pay you that amount for your layover pay.
I've gotten layover pay twice. Once was $150, once was $250.Redtwin Thanks this. -
What is the criteria for getting layover pay?.
-
24 hours between ending your previous trip and getting a new load assignment, unless you are taking a 34-hour reset.Redtwin Thanks this.

Thanks, I've missed out at least once. Waited from Saturday night until Monday morning.
-
Just write it down somewhere on your cover sheet. "Requesting layover. End trip 2/17/17 @ 23:48. Did not get new load assignment until 2/19/17 @ 09:22. Or whatever.Redtwin Thanks this.

Thanks, won't miss out again. That was a rough stretch too, spent all that time in a Ryder truck drop lot in VA beach, had to make runs to Walmart for bathroom needs.
