What gets me is that it's very obviously two separate transponders housed in a cheap polyethylene mold. I imagine that if one were to pry apart the plastic, one would discover that the two transponders are completely independent of each other, with no wires or anything connecting them.

Which means that it would make more sense to let us place each transponder separately, say one on either side of the dashcam.

I'm almost willing to bet there's more than just tolls and scales covered in that beast. With today's miniaturization of electronics, I hardly think you'd need that much space to just add a few tolls and scales to the system.

But then, I've always been the suspicious type when it comes to trucker tracking .... lol

All I know is, I want a green one.

Naaaa .... I'm spoken for man. Not a good idea to get "too" close. lol

Yesterday afternoon in Santa Clara I picked up my reload headed to Best Buy in Dublin GA. It's a real killer at 5,026 lbs. First light one I've had in some time though. Holding up at the J in Barstow since last night. I'll roll out in the morning well rested with a reset.

Thought about dropping it at one of the yards on the way (not due till 6am Tuesday) but then I need to get that new Toll/Scale unit and I also have to put my tuck in the shop again. Last weekend I put it in for a dead front blower, an EGR engine light and front curtains (been trying for those curtains since I got the truck last July). They fixed the EGR issue, still no curtains and apparently, when they replaced the blower motor, they somehow screwed up my AUX input on the radio. Also have no bunk controls for it either now. So I've been out here without my satellite radio or all my music on my MP3 player. Kind of dull.

It took them a month last time to process my app because they were doing a check of some sort. Don't know what it was for.
