Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Well that's a bit tough to do when you have no idea where you'll be and when. But after the past 2 weeks across the country and back without it? I ain't leaving the yard until I have it.

 

I've almost gotten used to that ugly thing being at the bottom of the windshield. I didn't look up first the last 2 scales!

Back to my earlier comment about the guy who cusses everyone and everything... I think I might've taken a page out of his book this morning! Guy gets behind me because a scale was coming up, then decides he want in front of me, so he proceeds to do just that and I almost hit him because, well, he was trying to fit where he couldn't. Did my best "you are an idiot" on the cb, to which I got a lot of " you need to perform a sexual act" responses from him. I was feeling a bit froggy this morning, so he got an earful all the way thru the scale (we all got the bypass lane). Then he proceeds to tell me to pull over so that he can perform said act on me, now I'm just a country gal and do not take ultimatums ( who me?) well. So I hit the shoulder. This is where it gets interesting. So did 2 others who had my back. Guess what? The little wussy kept going. Said he apologized and that he didn't know I was a woman. WTH? Really? I know I don't sound like a man. Anyways, he asked what I wanted him to do. I said"go apologize to your mama for birthing a pos (insert other choice words here)."
All of us who were stopped, busted out laughing at that driver. I bet he bout his pants when 3 trucks hit the shoulder to his invite!

 

RC, I wish he would have pulled over and gotten the proper beat down he deserved. I just love those CB tough guys. Be safe!

 

DOT took one look at that windshield monstrosity and didn't want you bringing it any closer to them than necessary.

 

Hey RC, are you in Apopka yet?. I'm up the road in Longwood, got empty 3 hrs ago and no reply to QC message and the phone is going unanswered so I figured I could come hang with you ladies.

Unless you are doing girly things like painting fingernails and trash talking men, in which case red is my color and we're all dogs.

 

I'm at the Loves in Davenport. My gf only had a couple hours to spend with me. She had to go to work (pesky thing, work). I came on down here to grab a shower, clean the inside of the truck and generally hang out until 5 or 6. Then I'll go on over to my delivery so I can rest until they knock on my door at 4 am.

@RebelChick me and Walter had a heart to heart talk,when I came off hometime this past Thursday.Was going through the same thing short run's with to much time on them,can't seem to get past Ohio,and this had been going on for the past 10 months,know it wasn't his fault but somebody had to listen to me whine lol.
