10-4. If I can escape the Northeast training I sure will. I kind of committed myself to it. Stuck in Edison, NJ tonight. Couldnt get unloaded before they went home.
Johnboy hogs all the Deerfield Beach loads. Hes like that you know! I think JB said he was going to overnite at Bouldercrest. Instead of a free cup of coffee with Pilot Points they give you a free Tetanus shot and some lizard repellant. Just kidding JB..

Ok, just a quick check in, I'm a little bummed out about George. Actually, I'm pissed. It should never have happened. I haven't spoken to him since the axe fell, but I will, at the end of the day he's still a friend.
Here 's what I've done since my reset was up at 5am yesterday.
Monroe NC to Wytheville VA to Corydon IN
Corydon IN to Murray KY to Forest Park GA
Forest Park GA to Buford GA to Murray KY....that's tomorrow, unloading tomorrow night.Lonesome, gntorres61 and jungHo Thank this. -

Thanks Johnboy. I am saddened by what happened. I was thinking Abilene and you took me so very many places that I never had been before I came to Richmond. The entire west coast, the southwest, Texas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Missouri. I am grateful for the opportunity I had while I was there. Meeting Lesli and your dogs was also a huge highlight. I am sure wherever I go will pale by comparison. Some of things I said earlier were said out of frustration, but I am coming to grips with what has happened. I just hope I can catch on with a halfway decent company. I will certainly take any advice you might have in that regards. I miss you, Big Brin, Rebelchick, and Uturn, Wjewan23, Sally and Don Tucker, Tim B, Jonathan, and Bo, and most everybody in the front office. I can't imagine working with and for a better company than Abilene. I will end up blossoming elsewhere if I can avoid falling on my own sword. I am sure the mistakes will slow if not cease. I should have flourished with Abilene. I was preoccupied with dropping my trailer and getting a shower and scanning my paperwork when I made my final fatal mistake. Also I knew I was down to my last strike which is a lot of pressure to work under. Maybe a fresh start with a clean slate will benefit me as much as anything else.
I know I want another company similar to Abilene with its fine equipment, auto trans, no touch freight, a pet policy would be nice, a liberal idle policy. A decent pay rate with good miles, and a fine maintenance dept. Anyway, I'll never forget the great friendships I made here. I asked Scott if I was a good boy somewhere else and wanted to come back if I could reapply back here. He said you can always reapply, but keep your DMV clean and don't make the same mistakes that you did here. Not sure he would take me back, but that's a question for another year. I wish you all the best Johnboy. I always said you were like a big brother to me. Love you man!!Last edited: May 9, 2014
