I have done enough miles in spring suspension cabovers (CDL school had 3 of them) to know that they belong in pictures, not under me.

 

Should have left it sticking out to ward off those numpties that like cutting in front of trucks.

 

I thanked this because I've never seen or heard the term "numpties" before and anything that gets me to giggle like that in front of my wife deserves recognition.

My first truck when I got into this business was a 1984 spring ride, single axle, International 9670 cabover.

Today's yard goats ride better than that thing did...lol.

Got lucky with an easy 20 minute drop/hook. Met some drivers there that say they were waiting over 5 hours for a live load ? Not sure if that's true or not but they seemed disgruntled
