Came off home time last Thursday and I'm already exhausted. Got switched from day to night in one afternoon on Saturday and my last 2 deliveries fell in the middle of my 10. Got 23 hours left and no recap in sight. Sitting MT at Volvo in Joliet IL waiting for my 10 to be done.

Told my DM to get me back to yard for the shop and a reset. Got some play in a steering column universal and a slight knocking in the front end. Could be a shock bushing but the way it's handling, I think a right side tierod end. He said the shop was crazy busy but they should be able to get me back there. We'll see.

With the blitz on, I hope so.

There's a humongous dip in the road on US35 southbound, after you get through the one-lane undivided bit, about 4 miles before you hit I-64, that will set off my camera 5 times outta 7.

There's another nasty one on I-40 eastbound, just outside of West Memphis, amid all that construction, long about MM 23, that will set my camera off 100% of the time if I don't remember to change lanes first.

Last few times I went through there, I was steering with my knees while practicing my kitten juggling. Haven't heard a peep from anybody. Well, except for the kittens, when I grab 'em the wrong way.

Yeah, I've never once heard from anyone about it going off. Safety did have me sign one "hard break" incident but it wasn't really a hard break. Even the picture on the sheet I signed showed nobody in front of me within a 1/4 mile.

I had just got MT after 3 days hauling a full boat across the country. The trailer breaks were a tad tight and the first time I hit the peddle it jerked the truck a bit and set it off. I explained and it was no big deal. But I think they felt better having talked to me I guess. ;)

Maybe use bigger cats! Easier to grab.

Must've had some truck stop food.

That's also very roughly 300 miles more than the loaded distance.
