Yeah, but you gotta admit that for the most part 40 through Arizona is smooth like glass compared to Oklahoma and Arkansas. I still haven't forgotten trying to sleep in the top bunk during training while my trainer was bouncing along 40 north of Little Rock.

Do you guys have lease operators? Saw a black T680 with Abilene on the door today and I thought all your trucks were green?

Yeah, we've got some LP types floating around. I am not fully versed in that side of the farm, but I have noticed that we don't seem to have guys driving old square-nosed Petes or anything. All of our LP guys seem to be driving trucks Abilene set 'em up in. Couple of 'em drive Western Stars, for example.

Yes. There's about 8 of them. Then we have about 6 O/O's.

There is one old style Pete still running. The other one I know of was being operated by someone who died recently. I saw him once at a Wal-Mart pickup where he had come in facing the wrong way to back into the docks. He said he was going to turn around and I thought "good luck with that" as it was a Florida store with those tight parking lots with cars everywhere. I was sure he would have to go around the block or something but about a minute later he came back facing the right way and I am still scratching my head trying figure out how he got turned around so quickly. There was no room on the lot that I would have dared attempt a turn around.

I finally saw that company green Western Star on the road. Don't know if it's a regular company truck or not though.

This has been one of my best week's with the company since I've started. Not just mileage, but the customer base, and the variety of area's.Will be taking a reset here in Jackson,Ms have a preplan dropping at the West Memphis yard, hope I can score a Reno run.

Glad to hear it, I'm still singing the recap blues. Got a run to wytheville gatorade tomorrow but doubt I will have the hours to get there. Probably have to shut down somewhere along 81.

If you have never done the Reno run before it's a good drive, lots to see once you get off 40.

Yeah that's my farorite run, sadly my reset won't be up till tomorrow, and don't think they deliver on weekend's,will probally end up with Brooklyn lol.

I would say something, about the recap if you haven't can't make money sitting around.

Imean it's just been a nice change of pace to get away from the usual character's

I have hometime scheduled for next week so that will break a solid month of recap running.

I don't know yet how much it has affected my pay as I don't keep a running total of my miles. Will have to wait until Friday to see if there is a noticeable difference. To be honest though, it's more the sitting around doing nothing due to lack of hours that bothers me the most.

Before I went home last week ran recap for 5 days 1400 miles, doesn't seem to work out to good for me,because most of my trips are 1 day.
