Go buy the bulbs yourself and turn them in when you scan your paperwork. They paid for mine. Put on there that I was tired of not being able to see the road. Got them at Walmart, of all places. $50 for 2. Can't get too bright ones or it will fry the wiring (or so I'm told) but they are a little better. If you get them from the shop, you're just going to get the same crappy ones you have now. It's all they have.

Yeah, if you take 81 to 64 to 95. Scale is at the 150-ish mm on 81. And with those heavy arse loss, it's. it fun to drag them across 460 (which is the way they really want us to go).

The Roanoke scale is easy to bypass.

From last Friday to last night me and dude next to me ran 7100 miles. Still having issues hitting the ocean, but hey, it'll happen one day.

I blew up the message center the night before last and yesterday morning. Had zero remorse about throwing some dickwad driver under the bus.

Deadheaded 625 miles from Jupiter Fl to Havertys in Bradenton, rain the whole way up there, a tight schedule and an overnight run to Memphis. Our 9pm load was finally done at 11pm. We hook up to the trailer, check it out and bingo, one of the trailer tires is not only flat, but blown out and shredded. I went nuts, called night dispatch, QC'ed everyone one that I could think of, and the following morning, followed up my messages with phone calls. I was assured it was being addressed. We had an 8am delivery and got there at 8:30 after loosing 2.5 hours to get a new tire put on. Sorry folks, as a trainer, I have a responsibility to show my trainees how things are done correctly, not doing a post trip and leaving a tire issue from your watch fir the next driver is something that drives me nuts. I don't know what the outcome was, but I sure hope it was good.

We are now stage 2, so yes we are. 10 more days and my job will be finished with Charlie. Then solo for 10 days then off to Alaska.

You train for awhile in the passenger seat, then run teams. Is that right?

They probably have to make sure it's somebody they like first, and by then it's too late to wave. :laughing6:

I got one on that part of 95 once back when I was running nights.

I noticed this car riding next to me with the dome light on. I took a look, and seen this gal with her left leg on the dash, one hand on the steeering wheel, and guess where the other hand was?

True, so true! But lately I've seen the po po waiting for trucks doing that at the turn down the road.

Speaking of po po, they've been hot and heavy along 460 from Suffolk to Richmond all this week.

    JohnBoy Thanks this.
