Yup. To much like work @Redtwin

Thursday delivered that brooklyn load and went to get pickles later on that morning. Wasnt gonna make it to rva on thursday so went part way and drove rest friday morning. Had to go see safety, turns out they didnt see my claim for adverse driving conditions the other day and violated me. I made sure they got the message today to put with the violation sheet. I didnt follow up last week to make sure they got it and thats on me.

Chris asked me to cover a brooklyn load for him delivering at 5am saturday morning. I agreed since next weeks a holiday and will probably be short, plus itll make up for wednesdays babysitting i did.

Break was up at 1940pm, pretrip, drop hook in jarratt, then showed up in brooklyn at 445am. I figured it was gonna be late, but was told do your best.

Saturday is the day to come here. 1 trl in docks, 1 truck 2 trl in bullpen, and put my trl in the door after checking in.

Also got to drive on lower deck of verazanno because of work on top deck. Not much space under there. Vic planned me on my pickup for after here so hopin bh has some more pep in their step this morning.

I am a local driver (5yrs) that started OTR (1yr) hoping to go back OTR in the not too distant future. I have been watching this thread for some time as Abilene is one of my top picks. I just read, on another thread, that going back OTR from local driving is difficult and megas won't take me (not that I wanted to go mega). Is this true for Abilene?

They took me as a brand new driver with no experience whatsoever and the ink barely dry on my CDL. I'm sure they would be happy to have someone with six years of experience under their belt, local or otherwise. I have never heard of anyone having a problem making that transition.

Ok thanks. The support you all offer each other here is one of the big reasons Abilene is so appealing.
