It's just perspective gained from having had some crap jobs that I hated.

Consider yourself fortunate to not have had jobs so crappy that they make truck driving seem like a dream!.

 

Sure!.

 

Picked up a drop and hook today and the trailer had a flat (low) tire, as well as two flat spots on the same set. Aired up the low tire off the tractor air and took it back to the shop we use. I had two new tires mounted and installed in a half hour.

 

After two days of unforseen hometime due to food poisoning they took the opportunity of a fresh 70 to give me a run longer than the miles I've gotten each of the last three weeks. I'm not complaining.

In related news, the McD's at 95 and Willis should be avoided at all costs, friends.

 

Well that's one way to ensure you get a reset in. What did you eat?, may have to order it should I ever want a fresh 70.

 

I note on my Pilot/Flying J receipt that I have "2.5" showers available.

I am intrigued by the possibility of half a shower.

It will be interesting to see how it works out in practice. Do I only get cold water but not hot? Are half the water jets closed off? Are they gonna cut the water off just as I get all soaped up?

Inquiring minds wanna know.

 

Doc was adamant that it wasn't what I ate but the unwashed heathen that handled the food. That said, those nuggets durn near crippled me.
