Ok, whoever is parked over at Dairy Queen tonite - you're making me look bad! All the other trucks there are parked like normal and whoever this is decided to park backed up to the fence. It will be a surprise in the morning when they are surrounded by cars that park there and ride share.

I remember a post somewhere around here from @TripleSix from a while back about one of his dealings with that bunch. Apparently they decided to search his truck, toss everything on the ground, and walk all over his mattress.

That'd be my last day as a free man, perhaps even a living one. I realize that doesn't speak well of me but at least I know that about myself. I'd like to haul into Canada just to say I have but it just isn't worth it given some of the crap I've seen written here. Life's just too #### short.

Just caught sight of an Abilene truck parked here in Oregon near Salem. Couldn't believe it lol. It's gone now though.

At a warehouse in Hanover, MD. In order to ensure the safety of the dudes loading and unloading the trailer, I must:

    -Chock my wheels
-Lock my own air line with a little lock they gave me
    -Turn my engine off
-Give the S&R clerk my key
    -Sit inside the facility

Seems to me that the last of those would eliminate the need for the first couple. Or vice versa.

It's vital to know which restaurants and convenience stores give first responder discounts. I remember doing an entire 24hr shift eating 3 sit down meals for the princely sum of $5.

Snot me, I was in MN on an LTL load. One thing I know for sure, P&D city driving is something I want no part of. For the first time I had to tell a customer "No". I was not going to get a 53' trailer and condo sleeper into his dock. I don't care how many other trucks "do it all the time". I wound up having to break down the pallet and unload it by hand.
