I saw CRST pulling YRC doubles the other day, had to do a double take....

 

Saw the remains of the BH trailer behind the museum. Not good.

 

Thankfully @Barn Door Bill is not some kind of future altering mystic because 2 trips to maspeth were enough this week. His would have been the 3rd. The wednesday delivery there wasnt bad at all since id done it once. Thursday morning had a delivery to a warehouse on 49th place in maspeth. Its the nyc delivery place of nightmares. The 57 area is a good place to street view it.

Twic card came in handy this week in between a serious skills test with all my pickups and deliveries in and around nyc.

Came in today and can confirm we are doing power only runs with crst trailers bc I did one today. Gonna move a amx trailer around pa, and then bring another one to va.

Im thankful for my seatbelt today. One thinks macks ride rough, which they do, but bobtail in northern new jersey.....its a whole different ball game.

 

The satellite view on Google Maps gives me the heebie-jeebies.

 

I was offered a truck before I did any NE. I turned it down and was sent on a single bethpage run. Not quite the experience needed for brooklyn but it was still beneficial. Doing a turn around on Jerome ave and having to snake between the steel columns underneath the elevated train tracks is something I will never forget.

 

That won't work with this guy. If you ever see a Russian wearing fingerless gloves, watch out!. If he tries to show you vacation pictures on his phone run, don't walk, away!.

 

Im not trying to be a smart ###...but what is NE training? I worked there a number of years ago and never knew anything about that. And I'm curious is Allen runnin' things over there? I had heard he was from someone else.

 

Put in an application and just waiting on the word. They still giving out the Volvos?
