    they opened up a fema warehouse in rural hall,nc recently, there was about 15 or 20 trucks lined up on the street and 3 or 4 was abilene trucks. was anybody here in that line? and if so how long did it take to get loaded or unloaded? just curious.

    One of my friends was there. He said he had 22 trucks in front of him and it only took about 12 hours to get out of there.

    That's quicker than some cold storage warehouses.

    Thought it said the company would absorb the premium increase?. It wasn't clear if we had to re-enroll though

    They are but $341 per pay period is still a lot to me.

    Amen! And to have to pay out of pocket $3,000 before the insurance ever picks up a dime. Total BS!

    I was told by HR that the big cost increase for UHC was due to people going to the ER when a doctor visit or urgent care would have been more appropriate. No clue if that's a true statement or not, nor do I really care. What I care about is that now I can't afford to have it, much less use it. Now I have to cancel my procedure for 10/4, which was covered at 100% under our old plan, because it's a $3,500 procedure. Can't afford that right now. Heck, I haven't even been making half of what I had been on FMLA.

    don't cha love it when hr uses a lame excuse for raising your rates and they know you can't prove there lying, i hate it when hard working people are not treated right......:mad:
