Ouch. I was hoping you'd say a month.

    I'd call that ridiculous.

Got a load going into Jacksonville. Earliest I can get there is 4 pm tomorrow, and I will only have 90 minutes on my 11 when I get there. Ten hour break would end at 2am Saturday (best case).

Concerned I might get stuck down there; how would you guys approach this situation?

    It's a drop, so it's not really time-sensitive.

My former company's insurance kept roughly the same cost but we had a new $2500 deductible. It did include a free colonoscopy if you were age 50 and over. After which I received a bill for $1800! Which led to a multi month running battle with the doctors office.

They are under a state of emergency. You can legally violate HOS to escape an imminent danger to your life.

According to Intellicast.com, the hurricane proper (or what's left of it) won't be up near Jacksonville until 2pm Monday. So I don't think you're in imminent danger of anything except getting wet.

Are you delivering Honda/Mack parts ot the Honda facility there?

Dropping and hooking is pretty easy there. Won't take long, and they'll let you drop anytime they're open.

Don't park in the slots perpendicular to the fuel isle at the Pilot. You won't be able to leave due to chowderheads parking along the curb across from you. It's totally worth reserving a parking spot there. Do it early, because that place is total chaos most of the time.

Last few times I was there, I got deadheaded to Braselton, Georgia, for a Haverty's load.

    Redtwin Thanks this.
