Not for the pickup. But they give us a choice, the pickup or $40k, I'll take the coin. I was number 2 in the contest all summer.

    Lonesome and Redtwin Thank this.

I called into safety today just to verify that if my trainee wrecks the truck while I'm training, that it doesn't go against my record. They assured me I was good.

Redtwin and MACK E-6 Thank this.

And it certainly shouldn't if you weren't driving.

Omg. How long is this going to go on before you pull the plug?

I remember my trainer pointing out the fact that he was leaving his seat with me driving fairly early on. He said he had students that he would never take his seat belt off.

I give you tons of credit. I couldn't train someone in my truck. Not a chance......EVER!!

    JohnBoy Thanks this.

That wouldn't distinguish you amid even a small crowd of truck drivers in my experience. :D

That moment when you put in a shop ticket for some major repairs just as you leave for three days of hometime, and then you get back to the yard three days later and the truck hasn't even been moved, much less repaired.

I'm pretty sure this message Sunday had a lot to do with me heading back solo.

Rusty, when I get this truck empty in Denver tomorrow it needs to be turned around and brought back to Richmond. I am not or will not continue training this guy. His know it all attitude and question what I tell him and disagreeing with me ends tomorrow. If this truck is not sent back to Richmond tomorrow, I will be home tomorrow night. I train because I want too, not because I have too. My safety and my family far outweigh this trainee.
