Don't call in. I know that sounds weird and I also like to talk to a person but think for a minute. Your FM has about 50 drivers; about 70% of them do 600 mile or less daily runs, also there are a percentage that have problems like I have had this week. Fielding all those calls makes it difficult to get loads assigned taking nuisance calls. Back in the day before we had cell phones and computers we had to stop at pay phones. Imagine the added stress technology has made.

More than likely KH. He said he had to be home because he had something very important to do tomorrow.

Well if it was him, that was a cool truck. Nice paint job combined with the moose guard. I was going n. bound after getting back from work.

I got home last night at 6:30. I was up and out of the house at 7am, empty in Boca at 8:15 and back home at 9am. On my way home my Qualcomm started chirping its head off. It was a reload assignment picking up in Tampa going to Richmond. The load planner didn't look at the hometime screen to see that I was on hometime, 5 minutes later I get a message from Tim telling me to disregard the load assignment and to go home. Like the good soldier I am, that's exactly what I did. I have some important business tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, so today is the day I get to take care of the house and the honey do list.
