I've been in a Volvo since I got out of training, and I like it. Nice and roomy. The fridge is bigger than the KW and freightliner fridges.
I also like the transmission. When I put my foot down on the gas pedal just a LEETLE bit, I want the transmission to engage and I want the vehicle to start moving forward (or backwards) very slowly. The Volvo does that. The KW and the Freightliner don't.
But yeah, it's definitely a loosey-goosey on the steering. I drove a Freightliner loaner once and was just astonished at how much tighter the steering was. I was weaving all over the lane the first 30 minutes or so until I got used to it.

The freightliner I have has a creep mode so it will move slowly even with your foot off the accelerator. I find that invaluable when in tight backing situations. The KW I drove needed a fair amount of pedal input which sometimes resulted in it lurching. Not nice when trying to thread your way back between parked trucks.
Despite that I still prefer the KW.ExtremeUnction Thanks this. -

Drove a '14 Volvo with my last outfit. Not terrible, but I don't ever want to see the words 'Eco-roll' on my dash ever again. Despite its obvious drawbacks I'm gonna keep this '17 Kenny until it explodes or they retire it.
Since when do we have tankers? I passed one earlier this week, though I can't recall where, sporting that AMX decal like the old vans on the yard.
Also, anyone ever run that MD 200 toll road or know if its legal? Not highlighted in the RM atlas, and I'd love not to have to drop into DC to get to Baltimore, but I know these vultures here get real ugly about being off the interstate. -

Whoever has trailer 6505 & is on the way to the yard, quit dragging your feet! Wish I had the $$ to have an extra car here. I'd have been home last night.

I once got a load hooking to a loaded trailer at the yard. After two laps looking for it I went back to the window to tell them I couldn't find it. The guy at the window ( he's new, don't know his name) said " that trailer was supposed to be here a week ago, where is he?".
There is nowhere we run that takes a week to get to Richmond, so I figure the driver either quit and abandoned the truck or is dead, either way someone may want to put more effort into finding him.
Hope neither is the case with your trailer, RC.
