That's some tough news. My prescriptions went up a little, but nothing to cause concern. Will have to wait until my next Dr visit to see what that costs. I tried asking last time I was there but they seemed hesitant to say. If it's really bad there are always the buy-here-pay-here Walk In options. They don't usually charge as much.

Trying to buy a fitted sheet for the training bunk anyone know or can help with what size I need? I believe my old kw700 was a full but not sure if I’ll end up in a kenworth or Volvo thanks in advance
-
Apparently Twin XL fits most bunk mattresses, but I couldn't find that size in a colour that complimented my eyes so I went with a Full size and just tucked the sides under.
Lonesome and trkrmichael Thank this. -
After 8 days off, it’s time to get back to work. I hope I can make it until next Tuesday when I get back home for Thanksgiving. Just waiting on dispatch to get over the shock and astonishment of me calling in letting them know I’m available after 8 days off.

Got back in the truck yesterday after taking a whole week off. Got my load assignment circa 11:00am: Hook a trailer at Sabra and take it to Belvidere, IL.
Okay, groovy. Nice miles. But wait! Delivery appointment time: 7:00am this morning.
If we imagine a magical scenario in which I was somehow already hooked up to the fully-loaded trailer and could've rolled right out of the yard and on my way at 11:00am as soon as I got the load assignment, I still woulda been 5 hours late. The only way I'm making this delivery on time is with a time machine or if my truck suddenly sprouts wings and rocket engines. And, of course, I wasn't already hooked up to the trailer, so I had to go to Sabra and hook the trailer, yadda yadda yadda.
Get here to the Americold warehouse in Belvidere, there's six other Abilene trucks here, all apparently in the same boat: Given a load assignment they had no way of making on time.
I bumped the dock 45 minutes ago and they have yet to even open my door. -
I don't even raise an eyebrow at those loads now. The main thing I concern myself with is that I did my best to get it there quickly and anyone checking my logs will see that I ran it hard and didn't take extended breaks.
As it was going to a warehouse where the product is probably going to sit for a few days anyway I bet no-one at either company was too worried about it either.RebelChick Thanks this. -
I remember years ago, driving from South Bend, IN, to Grand Rapids, MI, and picking up a load of office furniture destined for a government building in NYC.I brought the load back to the yard in South Bend, about 11AM, and showed the dispatcher the bills. They said "MUST DELIVER AT 11AM" on that same day....
Barn Door Bill Thanks this.
