Good to see you back. Hope all the medical issues are resolved. A flat tire is small potatoes compared to poor health.

 

Don't suppose any of you folks have any idea about how to pipe a mobile device (tablet in this case) through the stereo in a Volvo via Bluetooth?

I have the devices linked up. I can check the Bluetooth settings on my tablet and can see the truck radio connection. And I can check the Bluetooth settings on the radio and see my tablet listed there. So they're apparently synched up.

But I cannot seem to actually make it Go(tm).

 

Is your tablet configured to transmit audio via Bluetooth?. That's all I can think of as I have experience with Volvos

 

I'm spending thanksgiving at a tiny Loves in Arkansas. Doing a 34 reset here so I will be thankful if the taco bell next door is open tomorrow because I want to treat myself on Turkey day.

 

Not a happy camper here. None of the 22hrs detention I put in for has been paid and of course no-one in payroll until Friday (hopefully), so I get to stew about it until then.

 

Yeah, I am not a huge fan of the new detention policies. I want to be able to write down somewhere "I expect to get paid for N hours of detention," rather than just sending a macro saying "Detention time starts now" and then hoping whoever's doing the calculations in the office comes up with the same number I do.

 

Hopefully it was just an oversight. I wasn't expecting detention pay for *all* the eligible hours I was detained as i think there is a limit where you just get a flat rate layover, but i wasnt expecting to get nothing either.
