Rumor mill has some interesting pay discussion going on right now.

 

Yup, always a wait when I've been there.

 

Must be nice. Guess a Qualcomm message would've been too much trouble-if everyone is supposed to be getting it.

 

Maybe everyone isn't getting it.

I know it's probably just me, but I would rather laundry and bathroom/facilities at all three yards. Truck washing facilities, that drivers can actually use, would be a bonus too. The Richmond truck wash is only open when the stars are aligned and the W Memphis truck wash is off limits completely. I saw the mechanics there washing their cars and asked if I could wash my truck and was bluntly told no.

 

Except for all the others.

 

A friend of mine said he saw it posted on being a driver at abilene fb group that it was for everyone. He's rather tech challenged, so he couldn't screenshot it. I'm not a member of that group. Kept getting removed. Guess I'm too blunt about things like settlement sheets (check them), and folks dropping trls without doing a post trip on them. You know, things other people can say without being reprimanded for. Like a driver posting that info if it's incorrect. Just saying.

I'm with you on the wash bays. I get why drivers aren't allowed to wash their own trucks, though. Have you really looked at some of the folks we have here now? It'd be messed up in no time. But, if we did want to do it ourselves, why not let us use the old wash bay? Supposedly the laundry area in Richmond is going to be redone with a lounge area. I'm sure I'll hold my breath on that.

I'm sitting at the Richmond shop now,getting a trailer fixed with a burnt out light,and bad tire,that was dropped on the yard.

I mean how hard is it to write these things up.

And it goes back to the communication thing,how do you let a select few know,but not the whole group.

 

Maybe ask a mod to change the thread title. Abilene Motor Express, an old place of lost hope.
