A 6 month commitment does seem too bad to me. I would do it if I could get on the bulk tanker fleet. That experience will serve you well.

 

Come off vacation yesterday,was sent to pu a ld of dr.pepper out in the sticks,brought it back to the yard.

Currently waiting on the window to open for business.

 

It’s the end of the year. I really want to write a year end review but I’m enjoying my last few days off. I think I’ll do it when I leave Tuesday. Just trying to figure out if I’m doing the long version or the condensed one.

 

Long. The condensed versions are never as good.

I'm home as well. Since the 20th. And I'm about to go stark raving mad. Ugh! Never thought I'd say that I so miss being OTR, but I'm saying it now. Been dealing with mother's issues. Still. One last push before the final farewell to her foot probably sometime in mid to late January. I can tell the infection is getting worse by the amount of pain she is in when I have to put the compression stockings on her. I hope to heaven no one has to ever go through what she has been through these last 9 months. These super bugs or super infections, whatever you want to call them, are so very bad and painful.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that the year to come is filled with joy and happiness.

 

Ask them for a Canada load. You are missing out on all the fun.

Well... made the short trip from SC to FL on Friday ... I say short out of respect for those Professional Drivers here that do that day in and day out, but #### I’m out of shape in the long haul arena... LOL

Saw a few more of those BIG beautiful green trucks heading north... i can honestly say that our Little Fiat is not nearly as comfortable as a certain Big Volvo was in the past.

 

Unfortunately ... no ...

The Blonde and I decided that being Full Time OTR wasn’t very healthy for us... but #### there are days I do miss it.

Maybe if a certain Abilene Trainer located out of South Florida ever needs a Co Driver for a couple weeks between Trainees, I might take him up on it... I’ll even drive the night shift...
