Ahhh, Cost plus, not Costco. It's hit or miss with those stores. If you are lucky you get a grown up who knows what they are doing. Other times it's kids who spend more time chatting and staring at their phones than unloading.

Apparently we have a new customer: Whirlpool in Marion, OH. Saw a little post-it note affixed to a computer monitor in their security shack warning them about us.

I cannot say I recommend them. My load assignment was to hook a pre-loaded trailer anytime between 5:00pm and 11:00pm. I got there at 6:30pm with two hours on my 14-hour clock.

They told me to drop my empty in Door 67 and then bobtail out of the yard, find a place to park, and call a certain number in two hours to see if my load was ready.

So I dropped my empty in Door 67, bobtailed out of the yard, motored down to the tiny little truck stop a mile or so away, and put in for detention. I'll pick it up in the morning.

Guy in front of me, also parked bobtail, had been there at the truck stop nearly five hours waiting for them to finish his load.

Yes. Did that one the other day. Went back the next morning to pick up. Wonder why the sticky note? I don't think we've been going in there that long? I had a not so pleasant experience with the evening lady at the inbound gate. Not on my part though (ha! imagine that!). According to the outbound day shift, she's got some kind of drama at home and takes it out on us drivers. Everyone else was very nice.

Mine was a live load and above mentioned inbound security was very vocal with shipping as to why was AFN using us when they had trls for other carriers on the yard. Got the whole drop it in door 61, bobtail out and call in 2 hours. I didn't have 2 hours on my 14, so I let her know I'd pick it up in the am. Day, or maybe he was overnight, inbound was a young guy who was a hoot.

Upper Sandusky is about 15-20 miles away supposedly if you want PFJ or Loves instead of that little MotoMart. Wish I'd have known that then. But I was tired and just wanted to go to bed.

What did the warning post-it say? "Be on the lookout for Abilene trucks, their drivers expect us to keep our appointment times". :D

If there were more helping it would have taken longer as they would be busy chatting about video games or eating Tide Pods or whatever it is the youth these days talk about.

I actually enjoy playing video games. I used to go to the quarter arcades when I was growing up. I also had an Artari 2600 and a Commodore Vic-20 to play games on.

I'm into gaming too, I was just trying to find something to complain about.

I have a PS4, used to have it in the truck, but there weren't any new games that interested me and I don't have an online subscription to get the most out of my old games so I left the PS4 at home.
