Madman here, it wasn't too bad once safely inside the barbed wire fencing. I even went in and had breakfast at the iron skillet if only to make up the $20 spend to get free parking.
Mind you this was before I knew that the BH distributor a couple miles away had a large back lot where I could sleep. -
I don't know if you would know him. He has been with the company for a long time. Real friendly, always says hello when i see him.
I don't like using people's real names on here.KD5AXG Thanks this. -
Is it obvious which are franchisees?. I suppose the best thing to do is write the list of banned stops on the back of my notebook or something.
-
Probably be easier to just apply for a new card.

I know Breezewood and Raphine have some additional name to indicate their franchise status. Like Raphine is (IIRC) White's Travel Plaza, and Breezewood is the Gateway Travel Plaza. And of course the Davy Crockett Travel Plaza. So maybe a good rule of thumb would be if it's sporting a similar kind of name with non-TA/Petro branding?Redtwin Thanks this.

I've stayed at the Atlanta Petro many times without ever having a problem.

I'll have to pay more attention to the names. You were the first to mention the Davy Crockett travel plaza that I noticed on here a few days ago. I had driven by it countless times and never noticed that. I guess I just tended to not make note as they were never regular stops as we didnt fuel there.
-
I would stay there again were it not for the paid parking.

Now now, give yourself a little more credit, you're more then just a peon.Lonesome Thanks this.
