I've spent the night at Davy Crockett a few times, most recently a couple weeks back. They've got a funky parking lot with a huge dirt section adjacent to the asphalt, and you get lots of truckers at night double- and even triple-parking directly behind the row closest to the building.

I'm kinda excited about being allowed to fuel at Petro/TA, because they're my favorite chain of the Big 3. Loves and PFJ feel like four-wheeler outfits that just happen to have stuff for truckers. Petro and TA actually feel like they're there for truckers, and catering to the four-wheelers is an afterthought.

    HaHaHaHa!

I didn't get the QC message either, as I was off as well. Heard about it on here & grabbed one of the no fuel flyers from the outbound window yesterday.

Hopefully at some point this week they will get me back to Richmond and I can grab one of the no fuel flyers. Question... I have this Kenworth since Bill put me into it... It has now 480,554 and is gotten very slower going up a heal even with a load of just 12,000.... At what point (mileage) those Abilene (Bill) move you into another truck with less mileage?

My truck has over 650k. They have trucks with over 700k. They only bought 20 new trucks last year. Before that they were buying 90 new trucks a year.

    Silverdriver Thanks this.

Getting one with lower mileage would be luck of the draw. It would depend on what's available at the time. Some truck would also be reserved for new drivers in orientation.
