    Petro/TA do tend to have much larger truck parking lots. When it gets late in the evening and I think parking will be difficult I always head for a Petro TA.

    The conspiracy rumor I heard at the yard is that they knew they were selling so put money into the facility (fixed asset) with new wash and shop buildings and perimeter fencing etc rather than into depreciating assets like trucks.

    That's just what I heard people saying. Now that the deal is done maybe new trucks will be ordered now.

    Without going into detail, new trucks should be arriving in 60-90 days. Will still be green, say Abilene, do 72 and a new messaging system that will be linked to our phones. Now, don’t ask me anymore questions, I’m sworn to secrecy. Back to setting up my TA/Petro rewards card.

    Jeez....my TA/Petro card is active and waiting for me to use it.
    Just trying to help. Not that it will come from you or anyone else here, but we have enough false rumors on Facebook. As far as Zonar, that is correct. The first 10 trucks coming in will be test trucks for the new system. If it works, they’ll have them in all the trucks. If not, then it’s the same dinasour system that needs 30 minutes of rebooting 3 times a week.
