Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

I don't have to babysit the QC now. When I get a load they call me and let me know.

 

It's rare that I will get a call from anyone and I consider that a good thing. Last time I got a call it woke me up and it was to ask if I was ready to roll as they were sending me a load. So I get up, get dressed, get ready to roll out....only to sit staring at the QC for over 3 hours until the load finally came through.

 

Prime has that too. Used it when I worked for Jim Palmer. Great deal. No more sitting inside the truck twiddling your thumbs when you could be outside wandering about.

 

Just a heads up for everyone driving to and from California....
Coachella is the 13th through the 22nd. Avoid I-10 during this time, unless you like sitting in a parking lot.

 

I try to avoid California January 01 through December 31. I do like getting a In and Out Burger though.

 

Evomalo, Las Vegas is a good place to get an In and Out Burger..

 

Why?

 

Coachella music festival. Do not take 95 South to 61 to 177, and then run I 10 west over to Colton. It runs right through Coachella and you will be stuck for hours. DAMHIK.

 

So is Rockwall TX. Conveniently located across from a TA. Your new fueling spot of choice.

 

Never had In and Out burgers before, hopefully it's better than Whattaburger. I actually went out of my way to try those when I was in TX.
