Thanks for the info. Do you know about when this new "PC" rule was official? I just don't understand why they don't send a qualcomm message telling us about this new rule (Or did they; and I just haven't seen it?).

 

Thanks for the information. I told my new DM (Yes I have another new DM again) don't think of me as a hard person to work with; its just that I'm not going to be playing these games with dispatch and then having to get into trouble because of there lack of planing.

 

Its just unbelievable we have some people doing that.

Yet again changes to the safety policy but noone deems it necessary to inform drivers of the changes.

I have been written up by safety because I followed the guidlines of the previous safety director. I mentioned that my "infractions" were previously allowed and got the reply..."yeah, a few drivers have said so also". I then asked why a fleetwide QC message couldn't be sent out so other drivers didnt get caught up in the policy change and I was told they were "thinking about doing something like that"

How much more thought is necessary before they decide?.

Today I got an email about the Cigna Raffle!. I would much rather the email was about Changes to HOS/Safety!.

 

Maybe dock the pay of the drivers they caught and make an example of them?. Who am I kidding, much easier to just let the good suffer with the bad. Besides, nothing cures hoarding better than shortage of a commodity.

 

The way I see it could be wrong,but safety will turn the other cheek,if it benefits the company.
