My company pulls the same crap. They put out a fleetwide message saying that every truck must have two straps. When you run out and ask for more, they say that they don’t have any. One of these days I won’t be able to pick up a load due to lack of straps. It’s even more frustrating now that we are owned by a huge company.

The shipper was listed correctly on the BOL and it was going to one of our regular customers that has received freight from that shipper in the past so I don't know why this particular load was so secret.

 

Oh yes, curves going uphill so steep that my drives were losing traction on dry roads.
