Sitting at Volvo with 3 other drivers,wonder how long it will take to get a load in the morning.

 

I dont have trouble with the tunnel, its the bridge that gets me. I always catch myself thinking that there is no way that short guardrail is going to stop this truck from going over which then leads to thoughts of how deep is the water there and how fast will this truck sink.

 

I see a trip to California in your future. You have my sympathies. I have been bouncing between Columbus OH and Richmond all week. I should be bored, but I'm not. I quite like that I'm learning all the ruts and potholes...and that I am not in California or worse.

 

Fuddruckers is great, but you owe it to yourself to walk over to the Blackbear diner across the street.

 

Suppose to have home time next weekend,so I might end up getting that Compton load.

 

Anyone noticed that ever since we got that QC message saying we have to get a signed copy of the BOL from the W. Jefferson Target DC that the gate guys no longer sign them and catch an attitude when you ask them to?. Last time I was there the guy looked at me like i had just asked to sleep with his wife. This is a dude that i used to BS with in the past and was always friendly. He snatched the paper and scribbled on it then shoved it back while rolling his eyes.

I don't have a problem the other tunnels just that one. I just don't like the thought of a head-on collision in the tunnel. I'm always happy to get back to the bridge.

 

I'm still playing catchup. Since the new shop and new wash bay has all been built and enclosed, what happened to the laundry room? Did they get rid of that?
