Ill pop out hiding to take this one

I ran regional for 14 months out of richmond. I detailed out the math but cant find the post.

However if memory serves i was averaging 4500 miles on a 2 week pay period. Off for 34 to 40 hours on weekend, usually one 10 at home. Ran a lot of NJ. was in NYC once a week. All 5 boroughs and long island we run. I live close to rva yard.

With the 10 cpm bonus and 50 nyc pay you wont make more money than the avg otr guy or gal, but shouldnt be too far off either.

As far as what its like running ne, my truck rarely sat more than 10 hours and 10 minutes wo moving, many times only 8 hrs sitting. Never slept on an exit ramp, but did on many a city street or shipper reciever. Some "creativity" was required but i hear thats not as "missed" by safety anymore. Drove days and nights every week rotating around the clock.

I enjoyed my time and learned alot. And ive even found a few docks not in the northeast that made me wonder if i took a wrong turn in albequrque and was somehow back in nyc.

Any other ne questions just ask!

That all depends on your experience. Best to find that out from recruiting.

I am reminded of a conversation I had with a driver who had a cat in his truck. Said it was fine until the cat took a dump. And then the whole truck smelled like cat poop until he could stop and empty the litter box.

Now imagine that times...uh...[counts]...8 or so.

I didnt take that picture, but another picture showed the driver of that truck. She didn't look in good health herself, so yes, I imagine that the stench of that truck would be horrendous. I'm going to anger people when I say this, but in my opinion, no animal should be in a truck. It's not a good space for them. Plus in my opinion again, it's just another distraction to the driver.

As a trucking company you shouldn't even allow that many animals.
