That is well beyond skipping showers because you are busy or just lazy. I would say she has serious psychological issues. Its pretty sad really, there are many others suffering even worse than her as she is at least still able to function enough to earn a living.
Mental health will always be an issue particularly when the healthcare industry doesnt view it as a money maker.

Just wow!Silverdriver and 5speed Thank this. -
Are you certain that she shat herself when she fell, or is it possible that she was already soiled when she entered the van? That is just terrible, think I would have asked for another transport.
I saw one of our drivers at the Richmond terminal walk past my truck with a 30gal trash bag, full, and toss it in the dumpster. I thought, wow, that is a lot of trash from a truck. A few minutes later, he walked past with another one!
Abilene really needs to start inspecting the inside of these trucks, and firing people who cannot keep them clean. I understand that they used to do this, probably were losing too many drivers.
When I started here, I was given a nasty truck to drive. I complained and got another one. It was filthy too, found a used band aid on the floor, empty food wrappers... I had that one cleaned, then I had to clean it again.Silverdriver and Redtwin Thank this. -
I totally agree. They should inspect these trucks regularly. I've seen many of our trucks with so much garbage in the windshield, and I too, have been given dirty trucks that I had to clean up myself. I think they just say that to new drivers to make theirselves look good. And another thing is tearing up the insides. I seen a 16 freightshaker on the wytheville yard. I was told by Kevin to check it and make sure it was ready to go. Whoever had this truck had a dog and there was dog food scattered throughout the floor. Then I seen they had cut up the padding on the floor in the back. Cabinet doors missing, I opened up the fridge and nothing but dried brown liquid all inside it. Smh.
I would be embarrassed to hire a driver on and then assign them a unit like thatLonesome, Redtwin, RebelChick and 1 other person Thank this. -

Major props to the driver who dropped 5313 at Ellenwood with less than enough fuel to make it even 24 hours. Pretty sure the partial load on the trailer is spoiled.
ExtremeUnction Thanks this. -
It pisses me off to no end how some drivers use zero common sense, care nothing about doing the right thing, tear up equipment left and right, can’t be on time for a delivery or pick up, then biotch because it’s the companies fault for not getting them miles.
I’ve been here long enough to say this, I hold Abilene in a very high regard for a lot of reasons. The first is I’m given the equipment I need to do my job, I’m given the freight to run with, my miles have always been there and the most important reason is this, any company that goes out and takes a major portion of their profit to reinvest in the company like new trucks that are set up correctly, new trailers, expanding the infrastructure, tells me they want to succeed, some of these ####### that are tearing the equipment up, not making sure there’s enough fuel in the reefer, bad mouthing the company because they are “forced” to do the job they were hired to do, just need to find another job or go back to their parents basement were they came from, it’s not fair to the rest of us. Now my rant is over.popcorn169, Lonesome, mitrucker and 5 others Thank this. -
What gets me upset is a driver that has being driving for the past 6 hours with a "Boar's Head" load that he pick up and we are going to swap but he has no weight scale ticket! And the load needs to get into NY at certain time and he gets to me late!JohnBoy Thanks this.
