Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Well, today was a long day. Truck broke down again today, same issues but I was able to limp it to wytheville. Lost 10 pounds by switching trucks. Just took a cold shower here at the pilot. I'm so looking forward to bed. I'll be rolling that koolaid back to Indy tomorrow.

We just got a strange load assignment. BBT Colton to OKC. A truck broke down and we are recovering a load bound for Reno. We just came from there.

 

Guess who is on a load to Cali after leaving Groveport this morning.

I think we are figuring out who calls the shots here at Abilene.

I was heading west on 81 on Friday and feeling kinda put out that none of the Abilene tractors heading east would return my flash and wave then I realized they were new trucks from the Dublin factory being delivered to Colonial.

 

We’ve known for years. It’s JB.

 

JB would never pull me off gravy Ohio runs and send me to California. He just doesn't possess that mean of a streak.
