Headed to Evergreen, AL have to be there by 9 AM yard time tomorrow. Should be able to make Montgomery today. And Barry looked at my truck this morning. All the AC needed was the recharge. The shop ha been told of TA in Toledo being retarded. I won't be stopping there anymore

Just got my Boars Head off here at this distributor in Columbia SC. What a weekend. I was up and rolling at 3 am Saturday, got empty in London Ky, then was deadheaded to our Wytheville yard. I got there with an hour left on my clock. I called in to see what was set up next for me. Bo had a fire to put out, so based on my hours left he deadheaded me from Wytheville to Petersburg Va to pick up a loaded trailer going to Columbia. I left at 1:30 Sunday morning, picked up the trailer in Petersburg at 6am and left for Columbia. I had just enough time to grab a nap and get here. I got here at 4pm, backed in and took the rest of the day off. I had a 3am appt. the nice thing about these loads are the advent of our roll up doors. When I felt the trailer moving I just rolled back over and waited until the dude knocked on my door to hand me the paperwork. I'm going back to bed until I hear my Qualcomm beep.

Still had 30 minutes of drive time left when I got to the Montgomery TA. Didnt realize there was a rest area 20 Minutes down the road.

My Qualcomm beeped, twice at 8am. The message was a load assignment picking up 5 miles away, delivering in Richmond in the morning, the second message was a deadhead move back to a Richmond. I fired off an email to Tim asking him what the planners really wanted me to do. Of course I knew the answer, but like the good soldier I am I needed to hear it from someone above my pay grade. I just got finished loading the load. I'll be in about 6pm, get serviced then leave out with Brian my new trainee. The dude has been chomping at the bit for me to get back to start training, although I have hometime this weekend, and not because of the Fourth of July, but something more important, my wife's birthday, it will be a short week for him.
