I remember driving past that place one night. It was dark, and it was raining pretty heavily. And some truck had managed to get the top of its trailer tangled up with some low-hanging wires on the telephone pole outside. Just as I drove past it, he pulled the pole over at a 45-degree angle and sparks flew out of the connectors. I'm sure that was an exciting night for everyone involved.

@5speed & @ExtremeUnction next time they want me to take a load that requires either of those (WV tpk or Gatorade), I'll be sure to inform them that you guys would love to handle that instead of me!

I guess the only 2 people at Abilene that know I’m finishing up a reset is my FM and myself. I’ve had 3 QC messsges and a phone call from 3 different people asking me when I’ll be picking up my San Bernardino load going to Columbus for Thursday. 2285 miles. I’m thinking I could get in a 60 hour reset and still make it on time. But, the hood driver that I am, I’ll be leaving st 3am.
